Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1+ years Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time teaching opportunity is available for a skilled professional specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing education within a K-12 school setting. Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Active New Hampshire licensure and certification in teaching Deaf and Hard of Hearing students
- Prior experience working within K-12 school environments
- Ability to provide education and support services to a K-12 caseload, adapting to individual student needs
- Completion of district fingerprinting for background clearance
- Willingness to work onsite as required during the contract period
Location and Schedule Details:
- Position based in New Hampshire, with location to be determined between Hollis or Brookline
- Full-time, 32.5 hours per week commitment
- Contract duration: Immediate start with an end date of June 17, 2026
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instructional services tailored to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, supporting academic growth and communication development
- Collaborate with school staff and families to create inclusive learning plans and environments
- Maintain accurate student records and provide ongoing assessments to track progress
- Stay current with state and federal education regulations and best practices in Deaf and Hard of Hearing education
