M&A Litigation Associate
This role is for 3rd-5th year associates with a CPA + JD. Both are required to be considered.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled M&A Litigation Associate to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of mergers and acquisitions litigation, and will play a critical role in representing our firm's clients in high-stakes legal matters related to M&A transactions. This position requires expertise in analyzing public financial statements and familiarity with CPA and GAAP standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and analysis on M&A litigation matters
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings and motions
- Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations
- Collaborate with other legal professionals to develop case strategies
- Analyze public financial statements to support litigation arguments
- Stay updated on legal trends and developments in M&A and corporate law
- Assist in managing high-stakes litigation cases involving private equity transactions
Qualifications
- Jurisdictions' bar admission
- JD from an accredited law school
- 5+ years of experience in M&A and litigation
- Strong understanding of public financial statements and CPA/GAAP principles
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple cases
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
