We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator responsible for setting up machines to initiate production cycles, controlling and adjusting machine settings, and feeding raw materials or parts into semi-automated machines.

Responsibilities

  • Set up machines to start a production cycle.
  • Control and adjust machine settings, such as speed.
  • Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in production and machine operation.
  • Proficiency in general labor and assembly.
  • Ability to read blueprints and use calipers.
  • Experience with press operation and stamping.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in setting up machines for production cycles.
  • Capability to control and adjust machine settings.

Work Environment

Work in a machine shop environment surrounded by numerous press and stamping machines. The available shifts include 1st shift from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, 2nd shift from 3:30 PM to 2 AM with four 10-hour shifts, and 3rd shift from 4:30 PM to 8:30 AM with three 12-hour shifts, though the third shift is currently not open.

This is a Contract position based out of Attleboro, Massachusetts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $20.00/hr.
