Job Title: Heavy Equipment and/or Heavy Truck Mechanic
Location: Norwich, VT 05055

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced mechanic to join a collaborative team servicing a growing fleet of trucks and heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with excavation equipment and/or heavy trucks, and be capable of handling a wide range of diagnostic, repair, and maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service, repair, and diagnose issues on Caterpillar, Volvo, Deere excavators, dozers, loaders, rollers, and similar equipment.

• Perform electrical diagnostics and replace major hydraulic components.

• Service and repair CDL-weight dump trucks such as International, Kenworth, or Peterbilt.

• Adapt to shifting priorities and support a team-based shop environment.

• Collaborate with a team of mechanics and a tech assistant to ensure equipment and vehicles are in top condition.

Required Qualification:

• Prior experience working with excavation companies or fleet outfits like Milton Cat, Nortrax, or United Ag & Turf.

• Ability to work on both trucks and heavy equipment (preferred but not mandatory).

• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is a plus, not a requirement.
