Northside Animal Hospital is looking to add a compassionate and skilled Technician Assistant to our team.At our Rarebreed clinic, you can help reimagine the veterinary experience in your community. They are a three doctor practice specializing in preventative care and wellness, medical case diagnostics, surgery, dentistry and imaging. They also offer a fully stock veterinary pharmacy, in-house lab work and ultrasound capacity! They’ve been a beloved part of the community for over 40 years and are dedicated to individualized care and a stellar customer and patient experience. It’s centrally located for access to camping, snow sports and hiking, and was honored in 2005 as a Preserve America community! https://northsideanimalhospital.com/Technician AssistantNorthside Animal Hospital in Hooksett, NHWHAT YOU’LL DOProvides compassionate care to patients and clientsKeeps accurate medical records in accordance with hospital policy, including in-depth knowledge of medical terminology and record keepingPrepares and maintains the exam rooms and treatment areasPerforms physical assessments and records observations, including triaging and problem solving to achieve the best possible outcomesSafe, low stress and compassionate handling and restraintPrepares estimates for procedures and discusses financial commitments with clientsPharmacy skills, including protocols for filling in-houseMonitors vitals by hand and with equipmentSample collection and processing for in-house and reference labsBuilds initial rapport and long-term relationships with both pets and clients, successfully communicates plans and estimates to ownersCommunicates within the team, proactively advocating for their patient’s needsBENEFITSWe’re passionate about helping you reach your greatest pet-ential – both at work and at home.
