Job Description

Job DescriptionReady to Tackle Complex Aerospace Parts?

Imagine being handed a challenging titanium housing with intricate GD&T. You open Mastercam 2026, model your strategy in solids, design a fixture that locks down a thin-walled feature, and map a process that flows from roughing to finishing across 3-, 4-, and 5-axis mills and lathes. You document it clearly so the team can execute with confidence—and you’re there to support setup and make the small adjustments that hold microns. That’s a typical win at Boulevard Machine.

Who We Are

Boulevard Machine, based in Westfield, MA, has specialized in precise, complex aerospace components for 70+ years. We’re a team-first, close-knit group working in a clean, well-lit, state-of-the-art shop. We offer competitive wages; health, dental, disability, and life insurance; a 401(k) with company match; paid holidays; and the momentum of a growing business.

Your Mission (First Shift)

  • Program efficient, reliable CNC code in Mastercam 2026 for vertical/horizontal milling and turning across 3, 4, and 5 axes.
  • Turn drawings, sketches, and design data into optimized tooling selections and complete manufacturing processes.
  • Design workholding/fixtures to process complex parts safely and repeatably.
  • Create setup sheets, detailed process drawings, and tooling lists that operators can trust.
  • Support setups, operate machinery when needed, and make fine adjustments to maintain tight tolerances.
  • Provide technical direction for large, multi-operation projects moving through the shop.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Minimum 5 years in aerospace manufacturing.
  • Mastercam 2026 mastery with solids/solid-model programming experience.
  • Strong foundation in milling and turning.
  • Experience with difficult materials such as Inconel and titanium.
  • Practical knowledge of special processes: heat treat, plating, and NDT.
  • Proficiency reading and applying GD&T.
  • CAD capability; SolidWorks exposure is helpful.
  • Excellent communication, adaptability to change, and a willingness to pitch in wherever needed.

Why Join

  • Supportive, talented teammates who value knowledge-sharing.
  • State-of-the-art equipment and a modern, organized environment.
  • A diverse mix of parts and projects—no monotonous production.
