An opportunity is available for a full-time paraprofessional with behavioral experience to support students in elementary and charter school settings in Manchester, NH, and Kingston, NH. This contract position offers a unique role working closely with young learners across multiple age groups and educational environments.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven behavioral support experience, clearly demonstrated on your resume
- Experience working with children in early childhood to middle school age ranges
- Ability to manage and support diverse student needs across different settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators and families
Location:
- Positions available in Manchester, NH (Elementary School)
- Kingston, NH (Charter School and Sanborn Regional School District SAU 17)
Responsibilities include:
- Providing one-to-one or small group support for students from Pre-K through 8th grade
- Assisting students with behavioral challenges and academic activities
- Collaborating with teachers and staff to implement individualized support plans
- Managing daily schedules with split time between students, including a typical day from 7:50 am to 3:00 pm or 8:00 am to 2:30 pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
- Maintaining a professional, patient, and nurturing approach to foster student growth and development
