This contract nursing opportunity is designed for experienced Registered Nurses (RN) seeking a dynamic role in an adaptive acuity setting. Situated in Springfield, VT, this position offers the chance to provide high-quality patient care within a 25-bed unit that includes occasional Progressive Care Unit (PCU) responsibilities. The role requires a strong skill set in managing varied acuity levels with a focus on drip experience and previous charge nurse expertise.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required
  • Maintain a minimum of 1:5 patient-to-nurse ratio proficiency
  • Demonstrated experience administering drips and intravenous medications
  • Previous charge nurse experience essential, showcasing leadership and decision-making skills
  • Ability to adapt to an adaptive acuity unit environment with occasional PCU care duties (3:1 ratio)

Contract Details:

  • This is a contract position based in Springfield, VT
  • Orientation is non-billable with no required hours
  • Holiday pay includes a 1.25 multiplier; overtime is compensated at the regular rate without multiplier
  • Call and call-back duties are not required for this role
