Job Title: HVAC/R Installer
Department: Special Projects
Reports to: Project Manager
Job Description/Qualifications:
Assembling and installing piping and pipe supports for refrigeration, heating and cooling systems
Installing pipe for steam, hot water, heating, cooling and process systems
New installations, equipment replacement and repair in and on construction sites and/or occupied buildings
Installing, repairing and replacing refrigeration piping and hydronic piping
Minimum of 3 years on the job experience is preferred
Commercial, industrial and/or laboratory experience is preferred
Performing all work with safety as number one priority
License Required:
MA Refrigeration Technician License or NH Gas Fitter License preferred
Valid Driver’s License
OSHA 10
EPA Universal Certificate preferred
Physical Requirements:
Lifting and average of 50lbs
Climbing ladders and stairs
Bending or stooping
Walking or standing for extended periods of time
Regular exposure to inclement weather conditions
Operating motor vehicles and hand/power tools
Ability to handle frequent and loud noises
Ability to accept & meet deadlines
Other:
An individual must show a willingness to continue to develop skills in the Plumbing and HVAC/R trade as part of the continued learning process. Must show strong teamwork skills and also be capable of working independently.
