Job Description

Responsibilities:

Perform in-process and final weld inspections in accordance with applicable codes and specifications
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and customer specifications
Develop detailed weld maps using internal layouts and customer-supplied drawings
Generate comprehensive weld inspection reports including: Itemized weld joints and seams, Material and filler certifications, Welder certifications and activity reports
WPS and PQR documentation
Inspection dates and third-party test reports and Stud test reports
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, including AWS and ASME standards
Maintain detailed, accurate records in support of internal audits and customer requirements

Qualifications

CWI Certification (AWS QC1 required)
Familiarity with relevant codes: AWS D1.1, D1.6, B2.1, A2.4, ASME Section IX, AGS-G006
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat
Basic AutoCAD experience a plus

Hours are:

Monday through Friday – 7am to 3:30pm

The pay is up to $45.00 an hour based on experience
