Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Construction Equipment Operator to operate heavy machinery and transport materials to and from construction sites. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient completion of construction projects while adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, and dump trucks for excavation and construction projects.
- Transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure safety and proper functioning.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations while on-site to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist construction and warehouse crew with various tasks as needed to support project completion.
- Complete general site maintenance tasks such as trash removal, sweeping parking lots, etc.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B license is required.
- Prior experience operating heavy equipment.
- OSHA 10 certification is preferred.
Compensation: $30 - $40 / hr + $5K Sign On Bonus
