Job Description
Drack Construction Management – Construction Superintendent
Location: Boston, MA (and Greater Boston Area) | Employment Type: Full-Time
Drack Construction Management is a rapidly growing construction company focused on ground-up new construction, adaptive reuse, and commercial fit-outs. We pride ourselves on quality craftsmanship, strong field leadership, and the ability to deliver complex projects on time and on budget. We are now looking for a Construction Superintendent to join our team and oversee key projects in the Boston region.
What You’ll Do
- Lead daily field operations across multiple projects, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule goals are met
- Oversee and coordinate subcontractors, labor, vendors, and materials on site
- Interpret and enforce construction documents, drawings, and specifications
- Implement and maintain site safety and quality control processes
- Track progress, provide site reporting, and communicate issues proactively
- Facilitate site meetings with clients, PMs, architects, and engineers to ensure alignment and problem-solve as needed
- Execute short-term scheduling (look-aheads), monitor critical path tasks, and adjust plans to keep work moving
- Mentor onsite teams to uphold Drack’s standards and construction culture
What You Bring
- Minimum 5 years of superintendent or field management experience, ideally within commercial construction, adaptive reuse, or new build environments
- Deep understanding of construction means and methods, trade coordination, and CPM/schedule-driven workflows
- Proven issue-solving capabilities, with a hands-on approach to challenges
- Strong leadership and communication skills — able to build trust, provide direction, and represent Drack professionally with all stakeholders
- A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- Experience working in Boston or Massachusetts is a plus (familiarity with local building codes, permitting, and subcontractor market)
Why Drack?
- We take on a diverse portfolio: from ground-up construction to creative adaptive reuse and high-end commercial interiors
- You’ll be empowered to take ownership of your projects, influence decisions, and make meaningful contributions
- Collaborative, supportive company culture — we value the people on the ground as much as those in the office
- Competitive compensation, benefits, and opportunities for professional growth as we scale in Boston
