Position Summary:
We are seeking a Plumbing Technician. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined and willing to be hands-on. This role will support operations by ensuring environmental compliance, maintaining critical systems, and monitoring performance.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and repairs.

Conduct water and air sampling, analyze results, and take corrective action when necessary.

Familiar with environmental permit compliance

Generate and maintain maintenance logs.

Conduct preventive maintenance on mechanical systems.

Assist in system upgrades, modifications, and testing for improved operational performance.

Respond to alarms, diagnose operational issues, and implement corrective actions.

Support facility audits and inspections by providing documentation and technical expertise.
Qualifications:

Valid Driver's License

Technical Skills:
-
Diagnostic and repair skills
-
Plumbing, water treatment, and piping system maintenance

Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting capabilities

Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with EPA, state, and local environmental regulations regarding emissions, wastewater, and air quality.

Certifications (preferred but not required):

Water/Wastewater Treatment License

OSHA safety training certification

Education: Associate’s degree in Environmental Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Automation, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience accepted.

Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

This position may require lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.

Work performed outdoors in varying weather conditions.
