Job Description

Our client, a corporate law firm in Boston, is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support their wealth management attorneys. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, bring a proactive approach to administrative and client service needs, and serve as a trusted resource for both attorneys and clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys in the wealth management practice group.
  • Draft, proofread, and format legal documents, including correspondence, agreements, and estate planning materials.
  • Manage attorney calendars, coordinate meetings, and schedule client calls.
  • Assist with client onboarding, engagement letters, and maintaining client files.
  • Conduct document management, filing, and organization (both digital and paper).
  • Track deadlines, manage reminders, and ensure timely filing/submissions.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, financial advisors, and other stakeholders.
  • Assist with billing, time entry, and expense management.
  • Perform basic legal research and prepare summaries, as needed.


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or Paralegal within a law firm, or on a legal team.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management systems.
  • Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive client information.
  • Interest in wealth management, corporate law, and estate planning is a plus.
