Job Summary:
The Immigration Paralegal handles and completes the day-to-day immigration requests that come through. The position provides high-level support to the internal offices as well as external customers (such as Suppliers and Consultants) by answering questions and providing necessary documents. This position also handles the H-1B, TN, and Green Card sponsorship process from implementation through completion.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

· Prepare verification of employment (VOE) letters

· Review work authorization documents for legitimacy and validity

· Partner with outside counsel to prepare, file and track non-immigrant visas

· Partner with outside counsel to prepare, file and track PERM labor certification cases and I-140 filings

· Create and maintain public access files

· Create STEM training plans

· Track visa expiration dates

· Track and maintain foreign student tax exemption list

· Serve as a point of contact for immigration related questions for internal and external customers

Additional Duties/Responsibilities:

· Aid in preparing presentations for training purposes

· Assist with maintaining the Immigration confidential tab as well as the Immigration tab on the Loop

· Stay informed on immigration policies, rules, and regulations

· Update appropriate audiences regarding immigration changes that impact our business

· Assist on special projects as needed

Education and Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years of related experience with immigration matters

· Experience in the IT industry preferred

Base Salary: $60,000 - $70,000
The base salary rate will be commensurate with previous experience and relevant skills and knowledge.
This position includes additional variable compensation in the form of an annual/quarterly bonus opportunity.
