Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A registered nurse with stepdown experience is needed for a contract assignment located in Peterborough, NH. This role involves coordinating comprehensive nursing care for adult and geriatric patients, collaborating closely with other healthcare team members, and upholding professional nursing standards in a clinical environment that utilizes the Epic electronic medical records system.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering total nursing care tailored to patient needs in a stepdown setting
- Participating in patient and family education to support health management
- Providing leadership by working collaboratively with ancillary nursing and other patient care personnel
- Maintaining compliance with professional nursing practices and facility policies
Preferred qualifications:
- Active RN license with stepdown nursing experience
- Familiarity with Epic EMR system is beneficial
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication and patient education skills
Additional details:
- Dress code requires traveler-provided professional scrubs without logos
- Block scheduling will not be accommodated
- State-specific licensing is mandatory (New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate must be submitted upfront)
- COVID vaccinations are strongly recommended, but not compulsory
- Orientation time is non-billable
- Overtime and holiday multipliers apply
- All medical and occupational health compliance documentation must be completed within five days of offer acceptance and uploaded accordingly
