Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time role involves providing direct occupational therapy services to K-12 students within a school setting in Chester, NH. The position is a contract opportunity spanning the full 25/26 school year and focuses on supporting a diverse caseload of school-aged children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students across grades K-12
- Conduct assessments, prepare testing reports, and contribute to eligibility determinations
- Collaborate as a member of a multidisciplinary team to develop guidance and support strategies for students
- Support students' participation and success in educational activities through tailored therapeutic interventions
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Experience working as an occupational therapist in a school environment preferred
- Skilled in managing a K-12 caseload and understanding developmental needs of school-aged children
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication and documentation skills to produce thorough reports and maintain accurate records
