Position Overview:

The Department of Natural Sciences invites applications for adjunct faculty to teach lecture courses at the undergraduate level. Nursing Biochemistry is a 1-semester course specifically designed for nursing students. The course covers material in general, organic and biochemistry (GOB) with emphasis on units and molecular/organic structure. The meeting times and additional information are as follows:

  • The in-person course is scheduled for Monday and Wednesday from 2:00-3:50 pm.

Duties include delivering lectures in a classroom setting, administering exams, and grading students’ assignments.


Position Qualifications:
The candidates should meet the following qualifications:

  • Hold at least a MS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field

  • College-level teaching and experience utilizing learning management systems (i.e.- Canvas) and technology in the classroom is highly desirable.
