Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring prior charge, travel, and PCU experience as well as a VT or compact RN license.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Position is in a Med/Surg Tele unit at a facility with a small critical access environment
- Patient population includes those needing telemetry and progressive care
- DRIP management is part of the assignment
- Must be willing to float to any inpatient unit within scope of practice
- Traveler must have their own reliable vehicle
- Previous experience in a small critical access facility preferred
- All scheduling requests must be made prior to consideration; no requests will be accommodated after offer
- No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted
- Permanent home address is required for consideration

- Active VT or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Tele experience required
- At least 3 months of prior travel RN experience required
- Charge RN experience required
- PCU experience strongly required
- Drip experience required
- ICU experience strongly preferred
- Current ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications required
