An opportunity is available for a Special Education Student Records Clerk to support a school environment in Taunton, MA. This part-time contract position requires approximately 24 hours per week, with flexible scheduling options until at least the end of December.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and organize special education student records accurately and confidentially
- Schedule meetings with parents and coordinate communications effectively
- Communicate professionally with staff, parents, and external parties via phone and email
- Utilize Word, Excel spreadsheets, and Google applications to manage documentation
- Support the special education team with various administrative tasks as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a school setting, particularly within special education departments
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including phone etiquette
- Ability to coordinate schedules and manage time efficiently
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Workspace tools
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to confidentiality and accuracy
