Apex Contracting is looking for an experienced Lead Carpenter to take the reins on residential jobs and help mentor the next generation of builders.

What You'll Do:

Lead and work alongside a crew of carpenters on residential job sites

Handle framing, trim, finish work, cabinetry, and morestart to finish

Help plan and coordinate daily tasks and timelines

Keep job sites clean, safe, and organized

Train and support junior carpenters and apprentices

Read and interpret plans and blueprints

Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and solve problems on the go

What We're Looking For:

5+ years of hands-on carpentry experience preferred

At least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role preferred

Strong understanding of residential construction practices

Eye for detail and pride in craftsmanship

Ability to manage time and people on a job site

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Own tools? Great. Not required, but a plus

Willingness to travel to job sites around Bennington and Brattleboro (within about an hour)

$25$30/hour depending on experience
