Key Responsibilities:
- Product specification of systems and conventional furniture
- Create bill of materials; generate 2D/3D renderings and visuals Knowledge of accessibility codes
- Prepare pricing proposals and bid documentation Conduct product research
- Communicate with vendors to obtain quotes
- Create detailed installation drawings
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, percentages, etc.
- Reasoning ability to define problems, collect data, establish solutions
- Coordinate with Project Manager from start to finish
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
- Open to entry, intermediate or senior level designers
- 1-3 years experience in commercial furniture dealership preferred
- Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven work environment
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Communicates easily and clearly
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work efficiently
- Have a positive attitude, a strong work ethic and be self-motivated
- Proficient in current AutoCAD and CAP2020 software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs (Word, Excel)
- Proficient in Adobe Acrobat DC
- Ability to travel periodically for projects
