Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1+ years Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time opportunity is available for a certified Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Hollis, NH (or Brookline, NH to be determined). This contract position will commence as soon as possible and continue through June 17, 2026, with a standard workweek of 32.5 hours onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction and support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing across the K-12 spectrum.
  • Adapt and implement individualized educational plans based on students unique needs.
  • Collaborate with school staff, families, and specialists to create an inclusive learning environment.
  • Maintain compliance with district policies and state regulations.
  • Track and document student progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active New Hampshire licensure and certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing.
  • Proven school-based experience in working with Deaf and Hard of Hearing students.
  • Willingness to serve a K-12 caseload; specific caseload details to be provided.
  • Completion of required district fingerprinting.
  • Comfortable participating in a Zoom interview process.

This role requires onsite presence and a commitment to meeting the academic and social needs of Deaf and Hard of Hearing students within the school community.
