Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time School Psychologist position is available in Boston, MA, serving a high school setting. This contract role supports students and staff during extended leave coverage, offering an opportunity to work with a diverse high school caseload from mid-February through June, with an additional opportunity from May through June.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations for secondary school students
- Collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Providing counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success
- Utilizing data-driven assessments to inform intervention strategies
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Valid certification or license as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with high school students in educational settings
- Knowledge of developmental, cognitive, social, and emotional factors affecting adolescents
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a full caseload with minimal supervision
This position offers a contract duration of at least eight weeks, with start dates in mid-February through June, and additional availability from May through June to address leave coverage.
