The Launching Pad is looking for an energetic Teacher's Assistant/Full-Time Floater to join our team! As a Teacher's Assistant/Floater, you will assist the classroom teacher with classroom duties and instruction. Your goal is to create a welcoming learning environment and provide students with the tools they need to reach their full potential. The ideal candidate is compassionate, creative, and has a passion for teaching!

Responsibilities:

  • Assist students individually and in small groups
  • Supervise students in the classroom and elsewhere in the school
  • Enforce classroom rules and procedures
  • Communicate with parents and school personnel as requested by the Lead teacher
  • Must be able to bend & lift up to 40 pounds
  • Must be able to attend Monthly Staff Meetings

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Experience working with children
  • Must be a team player and communicate effectively with Parents, Children, and staff
  • Must have the ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledgeable of EEC Regulations
  • Have a positive attitude & be reliable
  • First Aid and CPR Certifiable
  • Required to maintain minimum workshop requirements
  • Must be able to bend & lift up to 40 pounds
