In this pivotal role, you will provide high-quality, whole-person care to our students, helping them thrive in every aspect of their lives. As our Clinical - Residential Support Specialist, you will earn $20-$23 per hour, plus a generous $4.50 per hour shift differential ($5.00 for weekends).

THE ROLE

As a Clinical Specialist, you immerse yourself in the dynamic world of providing whole-person care, ensuring that every action you take aligns with federal and state laws as well as agency policies. You deliver high levels of direct clinical support through observations, modeling, and coaching, while managing essential tasks like obtaining vital signs and administering g-tube feeds. As you accompany students to classes, appointments, and even emergency trips, you remain vigilant, addressing health concerns, hygiene, and behavior, while being prepared to administer first aid or assist in crisis intervention when needed.

YOUR SCHEDULE

This is a full-time opportunity with a consistent 40-hour workweek.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid driver's license
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Either CNA, or RBT certification to start, must be willing to undergo training (if needed) to gain the other
  • 3+ years of caregiving experience as a CNA
  • Current RBT (preferred) or experience implementing behavioral plans with persons who have challenging behaviors and are willing to obtain nursing skills training
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to meet DEEC/DESE requirements for in-service training hours
  • Experience working with children with developmental disabilities is a plus!
