Summary

We’re seeking a nurturing, dependable Infant/Toddler Teacher to provide a safe, responsive, and engaging classroom environment for children ages [6 weeks–3 years]. This role focuses on consistent routines, warm relationships, and developmentally appropriate learning through play.

Duties

  • Provide attentive, responsive care including feeding, diapering/toileting, naps, and daily routines
  • Create a calm, safe, and clean classroom that meets licensing and health/safety standards
  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities (sensory play, language, music/movement, fine/gross motor)
  • Support social-emotional development using positive guidance and respectful caregiving
  • Maintain accurate daily documentation (meals, diapers, naps, milestones, incident reports as needed)
  • Communicate professionally with families about daily care and child progress
  • Observe children’s development and partner with the team to support individual needs
  • Work collaboratively with co-teachers and follow classroom schedules and program policies
  • Attend staff meetings and required trainings



Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 per state licensing
  • High school diploma or equivalent (ECE coursework preferred)
  • Experience working with infants/toddlers (preferred, not required if willing to train)
  • Ability to lift up to [30–40] lbs and actively supervise children indoors/outdoors
  • Strong reliability, professionalism, and a warm, patient demeanor
  • Must pass background checks and meet state licensing requirements
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within the first 3 months of employment

Preferred Qualifications

  • CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education (or related field)
  • Knowledge of child development, safe sleep practices, and responsive caregiving
  • Experience with infant toddler care and/or state early learning guidelines
