The Landscape foreman position (junior positions available as well) requires understanding the strengths and weakness of each crew member, how to delegate responsibilities in order to meet a budget and schedule. Strong leader, good teacher, ability to manage several employees, social skills to interact with the customer, career focused in the landscape industry. Day to day tasks include not only leading but working with crews.
Experience driving medium duty dump trucks and trailers.
Property maintenance experience a must to include spring and fall cleanups, lawn mowing and other aspects of maintenance (trimming, pruning, etc).
For spring cleanups, will be responsible for managing a schedule for the season with daily work that includes weeding, edging and mulching.
Fall cleanups will be responsible for managing a schedule for the season with daily work that includes operating a leaf vacuum and other leaf removal equipment as well as fall pruning and trimming.
For lawn mowing, ability to manage and execute a weekly lawn mowing schedule. Experience operating commercial grade lawn mowers, weed whackers, backpack blowers with routine maintenance (changing blades, filters, greasing, etc.)
