Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school in Amherst, MA is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position from ASAP through the end of the school year. This role offers the opportunity to support students across three different sites within the district.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 50 students, primarily from pre-kindergarten through special education.
- Deliver services in individual and group settings as appropriate.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress records in compliance with district and state guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student evaluations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification (CCC) required.
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage a varied caseload across multiple sites.
- Flexibility to adapt to scheduling and service delivery needs.
Schedule:
- Work hours are from 7:36 a.m. to 1:51 p.m.
- The position covers three school sites.
- Interview availability is Thursday and Friday after 11 a.m.
