As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking a skilled and motivated General Manager to lead and optimize key business divisions including elevator modernization, carpentry, HVAC, and fire alarm systems.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of elevator modernization and related trade projects—from post-sale handoff through backlog creation, resource planning, and project execution. This role requires strong project management capabilities, leadership, and the ability to align cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding results on time and within scope.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Project Execution: Lead the execution of elevator modernization and commercial multi-trade projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and with the highest standards of quality.
• Workflow & Backlog Management: Develop and manage a structured backlog aligned with operational capacity, business goals, and client timelines.
• Project Management Methodologies: Apply PMP principles to streamline planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and continuous improvement practices.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between sales, field operations, foremen, and clients, ensuring alignment and transparency at every stage.
• Resource Planning: Forecast and coordinate labor, subcontractors, and material needs to meet project demands.• Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify and resolve project roadblocks; mitigate risks before they impact timelines or deliverables.
• Reporting & Documentation: Maintain up-to-date project records, progress reports, and performance metrics for internal and external stakeholders.
• Process Improvement: Help shape and refine standard operating procedures to support scalable growth and operational excellence.
QUALIFICATIONS
• 10+ years of project management experience in construction, electrical contracting, or related fields (elevator industry experience is a strong plus).
• Strong leadership, team coordination, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent projects in a high-pressure environment.
• Proficient with Apple and Microsoft Office Suites, Dropbox, and project management tools like Field Pulse.
• PMP, CSM, or equivalent certifications preferred.
• Solid understanding of electrical systems or related construction trades.
