Job Description Step into the role: Flexographic Rewind Operator

Schedule: 2nd shift, 12:45 pm – 8:45 pm

Picture your afternoon kicking off with a clear job ticket and a set of freshly printed rolls. You prep the rewinder, load substrates, install the correct tooling, and thread the web. As production runs, you dial in feed and tension to hit exacting specifications—print quality, die-cut accuracy, and label counts. You keep a sharp eye on every label, catching and correcting issues fast to prevent waste. Between runs, you oil and clean the machine, handle minor repairs, and perform preventive maintenance to keep everything running smoothly.

What you'll do

• Operate a label rewinder to meet job specifications and quality standards.
• Set up equipment for slitting and rewinding prime labels.
• Load substrate, install tooling, rewind press rolls, and thread the web.
• Monitor print, die cutting, and label counts to ensure compliance with specs.
• Adjust feed and tension controls for optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot issues proactively; make quick corrections to minimize material loss.
• Inspect labels continuously during rewind.
• Oil, clean, and complete minor repairs on the rewinder; perform preventive maintenance.

What you bring

• Previous machine operation experience is a plus.
• Strong organization and multitasking abilities.
• Resourceful problem-solver and effective communicator; collaborative team player.
• Physical capability to lift rewound rolls up to 25 lbs; steady stamina on your feet.
