Compensation Range: $76-$90/hrRole Overview:

Client is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead complex IT projects involving application development and large-scale system migrations. This hybrid role (3 days on-site in Boston) requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, risk mitigation, and exceptional communication skills to successfully deliver mission-critical projects within the Information Technology Services division.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Define project scope, schedule, resource needs, and milestones

  • Lead Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies across multiple projects

  • Manage cross-functional teams and vendors through all project phases

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels

  • Identify risks, mitigate issues, and adapt plans as business needs shift

  • Monitor budgets, timelines, and KPIs, and report to leadership

  • Oversee documentation, change management, and project quality

  • Manage multiple simultaneous initiatives with a customer-centric mindset

Must-Haves:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 5–7 years of IT experience with at least 3 years managing complex/multi-stream projects

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience leading business and technical teams in client-facing roles

  • Proficiency in Smartsheet, ServiceNow, Jira, MS Project, and Microsoft tools

  • Experience managing budgets, resources, and vendor relationships

  • Ability to make strong decisions under pressure and navigate political environments

  • Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement

Nice-to-Haves:

  • PMP, Agile, or PRINCE2 certification

  • Higher education or public sector experience

  • Familiarity with financial planning and cost management for IT projects
