Our client, a respected commercial drywall contractor in Western Massachusetts, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team.Position Overview
We're seeking a Commercial Drywall Project Manager to oversee multiple commercial drywall and metal framing projects in the Western Massachusetts area. This role offers comprehensive benefits, including a company truck and gas card, demonstrating our client's commitment to their team members' success.Key Responsibilities
* Manage multiple commercial drywall projects from pre-construction through completion
* Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
* Coordinate with superintendents, foremen, and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met
* Review and process submittals, RFIs, and change orders
* Conduct regular project meetings and site visits
* Manage material procurement and delivery schedules
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
* Maintain strong client relationships and communicationRequired Qualifications
* 5+ years of commercial drywall project management experience
* Proficiency in construction management software (On-Screen Takeoff, Quickbid, or similar)
* Strong understanding of metal framing, drywall systems, and commercial construction processes
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Valid driver's license and clean driving record
* Strong communication and leadership abilitiesPreferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
* Experience with BIM and project management software
* OSHA 30 certification
* History of successful commercial project completions
