Job DescriptionLingo Staffing is hiring an IT Security Analyst in Watertown, MA
Pay: $25-$30
How You'll Make an Impact
- Monitor alerts and logs from SIEM tools to identify suspicious activity
- Perform initial triage and response for security incidents, escalating when needed
- Support endpoint protection, MFA enforcement, and access control management
- Manage user provisioning and permissions across core systems
- Serve as first point of contact for IT support tickets—resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Collaborate with teams on patching, vulnerability remediation, and secure configurations
- Assist with vulnerability scans and device compliance checks
- Contribute to process documentation and security knowledge base updates
- Support audits, ensuring access, privacy, and security policies are followed
What We're Looking For
- 1+ years cybersecurity, IT operations, or related experience (internships/training included)
- Familiarity with SIEM tools and core security concepts (cloud security, IAM, networking)
- Experience with Microsoft/Azure security stack preferred
- Basic understanding of compliance frameworks (HIPAA, SOC 2, NIST) preferred
- Strong troubleshooting skills across macOS, Windows, and cloud-based tools
- Excellent communication skills—able to explain technical issues to non-technical colleagues
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent experience
- Bonus: Security certifications (Security+, SC-900) or relevant coursework
