Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a New Hampshire public school setting. The position is contracted for the 2025-2026 school year, with the possibility of extension.
Qualifications:
- Active New Hampshire teaching license in Special Education required
- Experience working with K-12 students with diverse learning needs
- Strong knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and adaptive teaching strategies
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with staff, families, and students
- Ability to maintain a supportive and structured learning environment
Location:
- Public K-12 school in Manchester, New Hampshire
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students individual learning goals
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success
- Utilize appropriate classroom management techniques to foster a positive educational experience
- Track and report student progress and participate in meetings and evaluations as needed
