Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Adams, MA. This contract position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload spanning kindergarten through 12th grade. Candidates who can work part-time hours outside of regular school hours to complete compensatory services will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language evaluations, treatment plans, and therapy services to students across K-12 grades.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress and communication goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, IEP goals, and services provided.
- Provide compensatory services as needed, including outside of typical school hours, to meet student needs.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines and standards for speech and language services in an educational setting.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence).
- Experience working as an SLP in a K-12 school environment.
- Knowledge of educational regulations and special education processes related to speech and language services.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Flexibility to deliver services during school hours and additional time as needed.
