Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract position is available for a School Psychologist at an elementary school in Boston, MA, for the current school year (CSY). This role involves providing psychological support and services to students to promote their academic, emotional, and social success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and intervention services to students.
- Assist in crisis intervention and behavioral support strategies.
- Maintain detailed documentation and comply with all relevant school policies and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working in elementary school settings preferred.
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and intervention techniques.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
