Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (DRT) – Contract
Location: White River Junction VA Medical Center, VT
Duration: 6 Months (Extension up to 12 Months)
Job Overview
White River Junction VA Medical Center (WRJ VAMC) is hiring an experienced Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic X-ray services to Veterans. This is a full-time contract position with potential extension.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized diagnostic X-ray procedures
- Properly position patients to obtain accurate, high-quality images
- Operate radiographic equipment following safety protocols
- Ensure radiation safety for patients and staff
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Follow VA policies, infection control, and patient care standards
- Work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare staff
Requirements
- Active ARRT Certification (Required)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist experience
- Active BLS or CPR certification
- Strong communication skills (English required)
