- Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse\n
- Setting: Nursing Float Pool – Telemetry\n
- Shift: Day shifts, 8-hour duration (06:45 – 19:15); 32 hours per week (two 12.5-hour shifts, one 8.5-hour shift)\n
- Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday required\n
- Units: Float to ED holds, Med Surg/Tele, Medical Oncology, Surgical, Cardiac, and PCU (No ICU floating)\n
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,620 - $2,690\n
\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n
- \n
- Active Massachusetts RN license (required for all Massachusetts nursing jobs)\n
- Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry RN experience\n
- Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience preferred\n
- ACLS and BLS certifications required\n
- Experience with Meditech Expanse charting system highly preferred\n
- Ability to float to multiple hospital units and adapt to fast-paced healthcare environments\n
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)\n
- Must pass a Telemetry exam during orientation (score of 80% required)\n
\n\nTravel Nurse Responsibilities\n
- \n
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients across various clinical units\n
- Monitor cardiac telemetry, assess patient status, and respond to changes promptly\n
- Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform wound care procedures\n
- Support patients with feeding tubes, oxygen therapy, and hemodialysis management\n
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, Physical Therapy, Respiratory, Pharmacy, and Social Services\n
- Participate in rapid response and code teams as needed\n
- Maintain accurate electronic documentation using Meditech Expanse\n
- Float to assigned units as needed, providing basic patient care in Endoscopy if required\n
