Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our facility maintenance team. The Floor Tech will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of all floor surfaces including tile, carpet, wood, and concrete in commercial or healthcare settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform floor care maintenance duties including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet extraction.

• Operate industrial cleaning equipment such as auto scrubbers, floor buffers, burnishers, and carpet extractors.

• Safely handle and use cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines and manufacturer instructions.

• Respond promptly to spills and emergency clean-up requests.

• Monitor floor conditions and report any maintenance or repair needs.

• Maintain cleanliness of floor tech equipment and storage areas.

• Follow all health and safety regulations and company procedures.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Previous experience in floor care or janitorial services preferred.

• Knowledge of floor maintenance techniques and equipment operation.

• Ability to work independently and efficiently.

• Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods.

• Must pass a background check and drug screening (if applicable).

• Flexible with shift hours, including nights or weekends if needed.
