Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for a medical leave coverage position at an early childhood school serving an elementary caseload. This contract role runs from November through January during the 2025/2026 school year and is based onsite in Woodstock, VT.
Key Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology within healthcare and school settings
- Eligibility or current status as a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate is preferred
- Background working with elementary-aged students is essential
- Ability to collaborate within an educational team to support student communication needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations and interventions to students on an elementary caseload
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on improving communication skills
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation in accordance with professional and school guidelines
- Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans and goals
