Title: International Student Ambassador
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: Social Media and Sales and Marketing experience is highly preferred.

Reports to: Marketing Project Manager
General Purpose: The purpose of the International Student Ambassador position is to provide excellent customer service to the international population by introducing CSI to prospective students, assisting in the development of marketing content, effectively on-board new enrolled students and increase student involvement through promotion of CSI activities. The International Student Ambassador will report to the Marketing Manager.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Marketing Content (45%)
- Generate content for social media pertinent to International students including but not limited to highlighting students’ accomplishments, taking pictures /videos of events/activities (with consent), highlighting student stories.
- Social media takeovers to promote student life/campus activities etc.
- Write articles/blogs about topics important to international students.
- Participate in and/or organize webinars for international students.
- Lead Generation (20%)
- Represent CSI by promoting the institution using a variety of sources such as Social Media, Outreach to Student Groups, and Outreach in communities to generate interest.
- Facilitate lead hand-off of prospective students to International Admissions Reps.
- Student Engagement (15%)
- Promote activities virtually and within the campuses while engaging current and prospective students to connect.
- Assist in the set-up of student activities on campus and/or virtually.
- Present student activity proposals by surveying and talking with students about their interests.
- Student Transition (15%)
- Contact and engage all new students to ensure a smooth transition to becoming a student at CSI.
- Assist new students with Moodle and Zoom.
- Other job duties (5%)
- Report daily activity on a Daily Activity Report (DAR).
- Other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirement
- Continued attendance in a program at CSI.
- Cumulative GPA 3.0 and above.
- Has completed at least 2 quarters (6 months) at CSI.
Education and/or Experience
- Demonstration of strong oral and written English skills
- Customer service experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Good networking skills
- Attention to detail in projects and tasks
- Patience and understanding in regard to student needs
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Presence on various Social Media platforms
- Positive Spirit and Friendly attitude
- Leadership experience preferred
- Creative and out-of-the box thinking capabilities
- Ability to work effectively in a Team environment
