As a Telemetry RN, your responsibilities center on keeping patients stable and progressing toward discharge through precise monitoring and proactive care. You’ll engage in continuous ECG and vital signs surveillance, promptly interpret rhythm changes, and implement appropriate interventions in collaboration with the supervising physician and the broader care team. Medication administration, IV management, and adherence to protocol will be part of your daily routine, as will documentation that accurately reflects patient status and care plans. You’ll participate in rounds, assist with transfers or discharges, and deliver clear, compassionate education to patients and families about medications, treatment goals, and warning signs.
