Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A skilled Special Education Teacher is needed for a K-12 school located in Worcester, MA, to support students with diverse learning needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the needs of students with disabilities.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create a supportive learning environment.
- Use various instructional strategies to address the academic, social, and behavioral needs of students.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods as necessary to ensure educational goals are met.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in pliance with state and federal special education regulations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification appropriate for K-12 education.
- Experience working with a wide range of disabilities and skill levels.
- Ability to design and implement IEPs and adapt curriculum as needed.
