Your Role
As a Mental Health Therapist, you will provide culturally sensitive, strength-based outpatient therapy to individuals and families. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, participate in care planning, and maintain professional documentation to ensure high-quality, ethical care. This role offers fantastic opportunities for professional development, supervision, and leadership in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families, creating a welcoming environment for diverse backgrounds.
- Provide tailored outpatient therapy based on the unique needs of each client, fostering healing and resilience.
- Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, and wellness plans to empower clients in their mental health journey.
- Participate in case consultations and agency meetings, contributing your expertise to enhance client care.
- Ensure timely completion of billing, documentation, and treatment plans, upholding the highest standards of professional responsibility.
- Engage in collaborative care with our team of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and fellow therapists for a holistic approach to mental health care.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field.
- Provisional license per state regulation (if required).
- Passionate about mental health and committed to providing high-quality care.
- Dedicated to ongoing professional development, including free supervision and continuing education.
- Eager to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client care.
- Strong commitment to ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and families.
- Ability to manage time effectively and complete documentation efficiently.
- Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is preferred.
