Job Title: CMM Operator
Introduction
Join a leading manufacturing organization dedicated to precision engineering and high-quality production standards. We are currently seeking an experienced CMM Operator with hands-on experience operating Zeiss CMMs to support our quality inspection and metrology efforts.
This role is critical in ensuring that our components and assemblies meet exact specifications and tolerance requirements across the production lifecycle.

You Will Be Responsible For
- Operating Zeiss Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) to conduct accurate dimensional inspections of parts and assemblies
- Executing inspection routines using Calypso software
- Interpreting complex engineering drawings and GD&T requirements to verify part compliance
- Performing first article inspections (FAI), in-process checks, and final inspections to support production quality
- Documenting and reporting inspection results with precision and accuracy
- Supporting root cause analysis and quality investigations for non-conformances
- Working closely with Quality, Production, and Engineering teams to resolve dimensional and tolerance-related issues
- Maintaining the calibration, cleanliness, and upkeep of CMM and related metrology equipment
You Will Bring the Following
- Hands-on experience operating and programming Zeiss CMMs using Calypso software
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Experience performing inspections in a precision manufacturing environment (automotive, aerospace, medical device, etc.)
- Familiarity with quality systems, inspection protocols, and non-conformance documentation
- Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team
