Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide essential support for the 25/26 school year at an early childhood school located onsite in Woodstock, VT. This temporary contract position covers a medical leave from November through January, serving an elementary school caseload focused on early childhood speech and language development.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working in healthcare or pediatric settings
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completed or in progress
- Skilled in providing speech therapy services within elementary school or early childhood environments
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to students with communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring in compliance with school protocols
- Participate in meetings related to student assessments and Individualized Education Program (IEP) planning
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet the unique needs of young learners in an educational setting
