Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time opportunity is available for a 1:1 Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Special Education Teacher to support a high school student with developmental disabilities in a dedicated school setting. This contract position extends through June 2026 and offers meaningful work in a dynamic environment that integrates academic, social, and community-based activities.
Location: Derry, NH
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM 3:30 PM (School Year)
Role Duration: Contract through June 2026
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized support to a 21-year-old female student with developmental disabilities in a high school setting
- Collaborate closely with two Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) in a 1:1 support model, including transportation to and from school, community outings, and home
- Provide or coordinate behavioral supervision if serving as a BCBA, overseeing the RBTs' clinical practices
- Implement behavior interventions, data collection, and progress monitoring to support academic, vocational, and leisure activities
- Participate in training for safety care protocols such as CPI, CALM, or equivalent, or demonstrate willingness to complete training
- Facilitate development of activities of daily living (ADL) during lunch and community time
Desired Qualifications:
- BCBA certification or special education teaching credentials with at least 3 years of relevant experience supporting students with developmental disabilities
- Previous experience working in school-based behavioral programming strongly preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to student safety and well-being, including willingness to complete required safety care training
