Eminence Home Care is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) for our afternoon shifts to join our outstanding team!
As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide vital support and care to clients in their homes, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. Your role will be essential in helping our clients maintain their dignity and independence while receiving the highest quality of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Help with mobility and transferring assistance.
- Offer companionship and provide emotional support.
- Assist in meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Conduct light housekeeping duties, including laundry and cleaning.
Shifts available: Afternoon shifts, including weekends
Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour (based on experience)
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Compassionate demeanor and a passion for helping others.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow care plans.
- Dependable with strong attendance record.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must provide proof of immunizations and a recent negative TB test.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and compassion.
