We are looking for a passionate and experienced, part-time Tennis and Pickleball Professional to join our team and continue our tradition of growing the game.
Job Description:
As a part-time Tennis and Pickleball Professional, you will be responsible for delivering private lessons, group clinics, and specialized programs to players ranging from beginners to advanced levels. You will also help organize tournaments, socials, and leagues while ensuring that all participants receive a fun and rewarding experience. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with strong teaching skills and a passion for growing the sports of tennis and pickleball within our community.
What We Expect From You:
- Provide high-quality instruction in both tennis and pickleball to players of all ages and skill levels
- Conduct private and semi-private lessons, group clinics, and specialized programs
- Knowledge of the latest teaching techniques, training methodologies, and advancements in tennis and pickleball.
- Patience and enthusiasm to motivate and encourage players to achieve their full potential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with players, parents and facility staff
- Assist in organizing and running tournaments, leagues, and events
- Promote and support tennis and pickleball programs through community outreach and club events
- Help with program marketing efforts and grow participation in tennis and pickleball activities
- Willingness to learn and/or ability to string racquets
Qualifications:
- RSPA or PTR certification (for tennis) or PPR or IPTPA certification (for pickleball) preferred
- Experience teaching both tennis and pickleball at various levels
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with players of all ages and abilities
- Passion for growing the games of tennis and pickleball
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
- Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to contribute to the overall success of the facility
